Post Beginner set-up
I'm verry willing to start with spinning dnb, so I was looking for a nice set to start with.
Two friends of mine (one on this forum) adviced me to buy the Synq as turntable or any other oem-tt.
My question was if there's much difference in this oem's?
If it comes to looks i'm really diggin' the reloop's, but I was told the service on the Synq's is very good since it's dritributed by Belgec.
Plus, I can buy 2 Synq's for 400 euro inc. flightcases.
Any other advice?
As for a mixer, I saw somewhere that battlemixers are often used for dnb.
Would the stanton sa-3 be a good choice?
Also other options?
My budget will be About 8-900 euro's.
Thanks in advance!

look for second had technics or stanton st-150 ,
the 2 best turntables imo. if you got lucky you can find them for 800 for 2
new 1000 for 2

Synq's are also good! they look a lot like the stanton's only less torque

for a mixer take a vestax , urei or pioneer!

headphone, senheiser, pioneer , technics

good luck and have fun :)

st-150 are exactly the same as synqs imo, just the price is much higher!

if you can have 2nd hand technics, its better (and i say that although i've had synqs for years and arguing everything possible to defend them!)

for the mixer, the sa-3 does the job, but if i were you i'd look for a nuo2 instead, vestax and pioneer are expensive and fragile imo. ecler is more reliable! af course, there are better tables, but in other priceranges! indeed, if you have enough money, buy a rodec mixbox (its around 500), you can keep it all your life and you have damn sound quality!

I think those Stanton st-150's are a tad to expensive
My budget is 900 max for the whole set.
Would 400 be a good deal for the 2 Synq's in perfect state?
They have been only used for 10 times max.

i've payed 360 for one synq turntable, with the old connection (with ground)
so what you are saying is a HUGE sale! especially with the flightcases!

get an nuo2 and you're ready to spin  (an a descent sound :P )

Yup, from what I heard of feedback of people using them.

The only real trouble so far I heard regarding those synq tables is that if you go play somewhere, you're bound to land on technics 1200 or 1210 and if you're not used to the differences, expect some oopsies. And of course, most dj's for that reason will also not accept them at events.

But for a beginner setup, I'd say go for it. Altho that price is so low, I'd have someone come with you in the know, to take a look at them. They might seem in a perfect state to you but be full of problems. If they have only been used 10 times and no problems, the price should be higher TBH. 400 euro for 2 including flightcases is really the kind of price I'd raise my eyebrows over.

shure thing, if i bought 2 synq's with flightcases and used em 10 times, would ask at least 600

If I had the budget you have, Id deffinatly go for technics 2nd hand! Take a deal like this one: http://www.kapaza.be/Muziek_en_instrumenten/Draaitafels/12403358/Technics_sl_1200_MKII.html

600 euro for 2 SL1200, 650 if you take the 2 concorde needles with it. That still gives you 250-300 euro for a mixer... Which is enough to find a decent one.

The Synq's are from a rental company.
They used to have them for a one guy who allways hired them, but since he has his own turntables, they're just gathering dust.
I'll certainly see if I can find someone to come along for checking the state of the TT's.
They're 2 years old so I suppose it are the ones with the grounded line out?
Got a Mail from new-line also.
He advised me the Synq's above the Reloop's (although the Reloop's are more expensive).
As mixer they'd choose the Vestax PMC-06 Pro above the Stanton...
Allready thank's for the feedback!

If you'd like to spend a little less I got 2 X T3 JBSYSTEMS for sale, I know they don't got a good rep. but to start it's good. I bought them in the summer of 2008 and I want 280 € for the set :)
Pm if interest if not good luck with your further search :teeth:
