Why on earth would you want to buy that Rodec?
Just give me one reason besides the fact that they are practically unbreakable... (Which is a shitty argument anyway: just take care of your mixer, which isnt a big deal at home..)

fattest sound ever
unlimited lifetime even in the worst conditions, and even if something would break inside, every part is replaceable by the user...when you have a pioneer or ecler, you know you will have to buy another someday...its like technics VS numark turntables

things that matter a lot!

The lifetime argument doesnt count, as I said... And the sound is about the worst of all pro-dj desks.
You fail. :D

well, eehrm dj-mixers evolve way faster then turntables, and besides the fact that a rodec mx180 is idd almost unbreakable they're outdated like hell...

hmm probably right...i would never buy a pioneer mixer, but i really prefer playing on a pioneer instead of rodec when playing out

its a matter of habit...ppl who have one always say pioneer filters are shit, cutting rather than mixing (a little more on a channel and boom, you dont hear the other one).

and almost every mixer has glitches sometimes, except these tanks...i know more than a pio with a 'burnt' channel. i wanted to get a rodec for years you kbnow!

ok, no fx, but nevermind.- : a true analog sound is nice too!

No can do for the sound. Rodec's usually have an unbalanced output (+110 AFAIK). The sound isn't really crisp. Plug in a simple DJM600 or DJM800 then your table at a party, you'll see what people mean.

Most people also find the whole look and use of it not very cool. It's robust but that's all it has going for it. You'll see it more in a bar for practical usage than as a DJ table. And a rodec also doesn't like beers over it etc.; What's more, some of them have coloured stickers on the knobs and you'll lose them in no time. They can come off real fast.

Comparing stuff like an Ecler Nuo 5 to your table is apples and oranges really :)

Thank you!

And it being robust makes those EQ knobs hard as fuck and small as a Tic-Tac! I always tend to have "krampen" in my fingers when I have to play on one

It's not about the functions or the durability for me really. Nothing sounds like a Rodec when you have 2 channels open full blast.
