Post Audio Software: Software to re-arrange samples ?
Hi, I'm looking for audio software, which can be used to chop up and re-arrange mp3, ogg or wav samples.

I'd prefer freeware, but any software you can recommend is okay.

Thanks !

It's not just for copying and pasting.

I have an existing sample, and I would like to change the order of the kicks and the snares.

It's mostly the general crap I'm interested in ;)

Can you tell me what's the program you personally find the easiest to use ?

since i'm a cubase-head, i do most of the slicing in one of the vst's:

phatmatik or native instruments kontakt
phatmatik has a nicer interface, but my not-so-legal version sometimes bugs out. So when that happens, i go back to trusty but userunfriendly kontakt.

FL Studio 7 I think (the latest). You can right click any sample and select 'open in slicer or slicex ( the latter has more options) and it automatically slices your loop in a new channel.
